According to AS, Real Madrid have a stunning sum of €372million at their disposal which they intend to use to bring another superstar player, ‘a new Galactico’ to the club.
The report claims Los Blancos did all they could but eventually failed to lure Neymar to Madrid this summer. However, they also understand that the 13-times European champions aren’t ready to give up yet. And it’s not just Paris Saint-Germain’s biggest star that’s on their radar, but also their starlet Kylian Mbappe.
AS quote the treasurer’s report, which clarifies that the sum of €372 million consists of €190million plus a credit of €182million at a very competitive variable rate. However, they also claim that club president Florentino Perez intends to put the club in a debt of €575million in order to renovate the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, which should make the transfer matters slightly more complicated.
Neymar of course spent four years with Real’s biggest rivals Barcelona, and to see him line up in the (in)famous white shirt would certainly represent a blow for the Catalans.
