Real Betis linked to Porto’s Kleber

Real Betis are the latest club to have joined the race for Porto striker Kleber, according to A Bola.

The La Liga are in need of attacking reinforcements, but their difficult financial situation is not helping their cause.

It is for that reason that Kleber is an ideal target, given that he would be available on loan until the end of the season.

Kleber, 22, has been rarely used at Estadio do Dragao this season, with his position becoming even more difficult after the Dragons signed former Sporting Lisbon forward Liedson.

The Brazilian is, therefore, desperate to leave the club in the January transfer window, after several unsuccessful attempts earlier this month.

Kleber was on the verge of joining first Anderlecht and then Dinamo Zagreb, but both deals eventually fell through.

He is now hoping that a move to Real Betis will come to fruition before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
