CSKA Moscow star Seydou Doumbia said he is motivated to perform in their Champions League round-of-16 clash with Real Madrid.
The Ivory Coast international has been one of the stars of this year’s edition of Europe’s elite club tournament with five goals in as many appearances, and he revealed that he is ready for Tuesday’s first-leg against the La Liga leaders.
“The fans know that we are ready to beat Real Madrid. Their support is a huge motivation,” Doumbia told AS.
“We have the intention to do something special. I am hyper-motivated to get a good result on Tuesday.”
The match will take place at Luzhniki Stadium, with the second leg of the tie getting underway on March 14 at Santiago Bernabeu.
