Real duo set for loan deals

Real Madrid youngsters Martin Odegaard and Marco Asencio will be farmed out on loan in the summer transfer window, according to Marca.

The talented footballers were snatched by los Blancos in the January window with a view to building for the future.

And while Asencio was loaned back to Mallorca, Martin Odegaard mostly featured for Real’s B side that compete in Spain’s third tier.

With competition for places at Santiago Bernabeu fierce, new coach Rafael Benitez has decided to send both players on season-long loans this summer.

The likes of Villarreal, Malaga and Real Betis have already shown interest in the Norwegian starlet, but he will only leave Santiago Bernabeu after completing pre-season with Real Madrid.

Marco Asencio, on the other hand, will represent Spain at the Under-19 European Championship in Greece and once he returns from a mandatory holiday, he will immediately join his new side for pre season training.
