Real Madrid 8/15 to win against Manchester City in tonight’s Champions League clash

Competition: Champions League
Market: Real Madrid to win against Man City
Odds: 8/15 @ Ladbrokes

Real Madrid and Manchester City meet at the Santiago Bernabeu for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final clash tonight, in a game that could go the way of the hosts given their outstanding form in Madrid. City have surpassed expectations in Europe this season, however, so they may put up a valiant effort to get a result.

Real and Man City played out a goalless draw in the first leg at the Etihad Stadium, so the tie is perfectly poised this evening. However, the Spaniards welcome back Cristiano Ronaldo to the attack which could be the difference given his form in 2015/16. 16 goals in 10 Champions League games sees Ronaldo as the man to watch, but Real aren’t often stopped on home soil.

Real Madrid have won every home game in the competition this season, scoring 18 goals with no reply, so Manchester City have a tough task to get a result at the Bernabeu. They have confounded their critics so far, beating Paris Saint-Germain in the previous round, but they have failed to win three of their last four games in all competitions ahead of tonight’s encounter.

As a result, Ladbrokes are giving odds of 8/15 for Real Madrid to win against Manchester City to book their place in the Champions League final at the San Siro.
