Real Madrid to trigger Morata’s buy-back clause

Spanish giants Real Madrid have decided to bring Alvaro Morata back to Santiago Bernabeu, according to Marca.

Los Blancos surprsingly sold the talented forward to Juventus in the summer of 2014, but made sure to include a buy-back clause that will be worth €32 million next summer.

Real Madrid chiefs have been impressed with how Morata has progressed since leaving Madrid and new coach Zinedine Zidane wants to make the Spain international his number one striker.

Alvaro Morata has developed into a world-class footballer during his time in Turin, despite the fact that his goalscoring record is not that impressive.

After enjoying a dry spell, the 23-year-old bagged back to back braces against Inter and Chievo, taking his tally to seven goals this season.

But, despite recently signing a new deal until 2020 in Turin, it looks as though he will be returning to Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the current campaign.
