Competition: MLS

Market: Real Salt Lake win

Odds: 6/5 @ Bet365

Looking to carry on their impressive recent run of form, Real Salt Lake will welcome last seasons runners-ups Seattle Sounders to the Rio Tinto Stadium.

For Mike Petke’s Real Salt Lake side, despite a poor start to the season, The Claret and Cobalt have recently begun to find their form and now know that if they can pick up their third win on the bounce, the hosts will ever so briefly jump into second spot in the Western Conference. Coming off the back of a 2-1 win against Huston Dynamo at the Rio Tinto Stadium, Salt Lake have now won three of their last four and also managed to beat Seattle 1-0 in the reverse fixture two weeks ago. Along with scoring six in their last three, Salt Lake also hold an impressive record at home. The hosts on Sunday have now won their last five matches in a row at home and have scored two or more in four of those victories.

For Brian Schmetzer’s Seattle Sounders side, although many tipped the visitors as potential champions in the Western Conference following their second place finish last year, The Greens have drastically struggled this time around and have now lost their last two games on the bounce. Now failing to find the net in four of their last five, it’s no surprise that Seattle now hold the worst attacking stats in the whole of the MLS and only their goal difference keeps them from bottom spot in the Western Conference.
