Ream signs new Fulham deal

Fuham have confirmed that defender Tim Ream has signed a new contract.

After beating Aston Villa in the Championship Play-Off final, Fulham have been promoted to the Premier League and are heavily in the process of securing the future of their core as manager Slaviša Jokanović strives to create a team that would be able to sustain the newly regained top-flight status.

They have rejected an offer from West Ham for their captain Tom Cairney and given him a new deal, and they are close to completing a permanent move for Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrović, who spent the second half of 2017/18 on loan at Craven Cottage.

The contract the 30-year-old Ream has signed is set to keep him at the club for further two years. He has revealed that he wanted his immediate future settled as soon as possible, so he could focus on football and not worry about it.
