Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker insists that he is not interested in leaving the club.
Reports in the media have suggested that the former West Ham ace is keen on a return to London, something the 24-year-old denies.
Reo-Coker said: “I’m happy and I’m enjoying myself. I’m playing football week in, week out.
“I’m hitting form and that’s all there is to say. If I wasn’t happy, I wouldn’t be playing the way I have.
“London is only an hour-and-a-half from the Midlands. From a young age, I knew what it took to become a professional footballer.
“You have to live with it, going up and down the country. It is something you have to be open to do.
“If I didn’t want to leave London, I wouldn’t have left West Ham in the first place. I’m not stupid.”
