Henrik Mkhitaryan has caught the attention of Fiorentina while playing for Shakhtar Donetsk in recent months, according to a report.
Goal.com can reveal the Serie A outfit are in the market for attacking reinforcements because of the ongoing uncertainty about the future of Stevan Jovetic, and they see Mkhitaryan as the perfect replacement in case the Montenegro star leaves the club.
The Armenia international joined Shakhtar from Metalurg Donetsk in mid-2010, and has since developed into a key player at the Miners.
Mkhitaryan, 23, has featured in every Champions League match for Shakhtar so far this term, and his two goals have helped fired his side into the knockout stages.
The forward will not be available on the cheap, though, if Fiorentina decide to make a move for him as he has a contract with Shakhtar until June 2015.
