Wolfsburg are ready to make another move for Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella, according to a report.

The Bundesliga side are looking to add some more depth to their attack, and – according to Goal.com – they have earmarked the 30-year-old as the ideal candidate to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

Quagliarella has been struggling to secure regular first-team action this term, and could therefore be open to a move away from the Serie A leaders in order to get more playing time elsewhere.

Wolfsburg were willing to pay up to 10 million euros for the attacker in January, but they will be hopeful of getting their man on the cheap after Quagliarella’s changed status at Juventus.

Nevertheless, Wolfsburg face stiff competition in the race for the former Napoli attacker’s signature.

Clubs including Roma and Parma are also closely monitoring the forward’s situation, and Quagliarella could prefer a prolonged stay in Italy over a move to the Bundesliga.

Meanwhile, Wolfsburg are also keeping tabs on Torino attacker Alessio Cerci as they believe the 25-year-old could be an impressive addition.
