Robbery duo set for new Bayern deals

Veteran wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery should soon be offered contract extensions at Allianz Arena, Bild has learned.

Both players will be out of contract at the end of the season and the Bavarians have been debating for quite some time whether to offer them new deals.

Ribery and Robben are no longer regarded first team regulars, but seeing as how they are still capable of making the difference when they are on the pitch, it is hardly surprising that Bayern chiefs want to keep hold of them.

Key players like Philipp Lahm and Thomas Muller also believe the Robbery duo should be kept at all costs, and everything suggests both will soon be given new contracts at Allianz Arena.

Arjen Robben, 32, recently returned from a six-month injury lay-off, scoring in the 3-0 win over Hertha, whereas Franck Ribery has already bagged two goals in four Bundesliga outings this season.
