Brazilian striker Robinho has given up all hope of a move to Chelsea due to Real Madrid's refusal to even discuss a possible deal, his advisor claimed on Wednesday.
Chelsea have been bidding to sign the 24-year-old following the appointment of his countryman Luiz Felipe Scolari as manager at Stamford Bridge.
But Robinho's representative Wagner Ribeiro insists the door has now been closed on the deal by the Bernabeu hierarchy.
“The dream of Chelsea is broken because Real Madrid will not even negotiate. It is impossible to advance any conversation,” he told the Daily Star.
“Next summer we will sort out the situation if people can show some sense.”
