Manchester City champion Robinho, who turns 25 this weekend, has stressed that his walk-out was nothing more than a misunderstanding between he and the club. “I want to make the situation clear to the fans so they can understand my decision to fly home to Brazil: it was a family matter” he said in a statement.
“I will return to the club and hope to sort out this matter as soon as possible,” Robinho said. “I am committed to helping Manchester City become the force the owners assure me they will become.”
On Kakà’s decision to remain at Milan: “He’s one of my good friends and it would have been great to see him at Manchester City”.
