Everybody was somewhat surprised by Robinho choosing Manchester City over Chelsea. I suppose four million pounds a year is fairly persuasive but still it seemed a strange choice.

It seems that Robinho himself may be struggling to come to terms with the decision he made. Speaking to reporters he said, “On the last day, Chelsea made me a great proposal and I accepted it.”

A reporter replied, “You mean Manchester right?”.

“Yeah, Manchester, sorry!” answered Robinho.

Priceless!

Men I think the fellow just wanted to get away from Real after realising that his dream move to Chelsea would not materialise. He has still made a good choice though to join the new look Man City.

No matter what people may think, I would have also felt undervalued if my club tried to make me part of a transfer deal for another player I’m comparably skilled with….
