Chelsea have publicly declared their interest to sign Real Madrid’s Robinho and The Independent claims that they are confident a deal will go through this summer. Now, all the remains to be sorted out is a deal with the player’s club, Real Madrid.
According to various reports, the Spanish champions are reluctant to part ways with their forward although the player has reportedly become disillusioned with life in Madrid.
The Independent also reports that any potential deal would have no relation to Real Madrid’s chase of Cristiano Ronaldo. It was initially thought that the two transfers were interdependent, but now those stories have been dismissed.
