Lazio striker Tommaso Rocchi admits he is eager to return, after being out of action since the Beijing Olympics.

Rocchi has been struggling with a leg injury but looks ready to return to action.

Rocchi told Radio Radio: “I am really happy with the way Lazio have been playing, the hard work is evident.

“I miss playing and I have been training for over a month now but preparing for games is different from getting back to fitness.

“I think an attacking trident can work and I think it would be a good solution.

“I will make myself available but I will not expect to be first choice. It’s important for everyone to be ready for the team rather than thinking about themselves.”

Lazio are currently at the top of the Serie A and will face AC Milan at the San Siro on Sunday.
