Roma and Fiorentina have joined the race to sign Bayern Munich striker Lukas Podolski, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Podolski is keen to leave Bayern Munich due to the lack of first team football at the club.
“I wouldn’t have [signed] had I known that things were going to turn out like this,” he said.
“I would be a bad footballer if I contented myself with sitting on the bench. This is too much! I’m not making any progress here.”
The Germany international joined Bayern Munich from Cologne in 2006 but has struggled to establish himself in the starting eleven at the Allianz Arena.
Podolski face competition from star strikers such as Luca Toni and Miroslav Klose at Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for the 23 year old striker.

Got something to say?

fiorentina can use poldi the most because he can compliment mutu the most on the other wing forward position….. if they do sign poldi in january look out Viola would be an amazing team with gila mutu and poldi up top… no team could stop that attack
