Roma eyeing Faouzi Ghoulam

Saint Etienne full-back Faouzi Ghoulam has been the subject of interest from Serie A giants Roma, reports L’Equipe.

Another product of club’s very successful youth academy, the 22-year-old has been in fine form since nailing down a regular starting berth at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, and his impressive displays did not go unnoticed.

According to L’Equipe, the Algerian has already been on the radar of AC Milan, while AS Roma are the latest club to express interest in his services.

The Giallorossi boss knows the player well having spent much of his coaching career in French Ligue 1 and he will attempt to lure him to Stadio Olimpico.

And with Saint Etienne’s asking price standing at mere €3 million, Roma could decide to make a move in January so as to beat the other interested sides to the player’s signature.

The Giallorossi slipped to second in the Serie A standings after three straight draws, but they can be backed at 10/3 to lift the league title.
