Roma eyeing Raul Rusescu; Lyon starlet hints at summer exit

hot-transfer-newsRoma eyeing Raul Rusescu

AS Roma are weighing up a summer move for Sevilla striker Raul Rusescu, according to Portuguese daily A Bola.

The Giallorossi have been impressed by the Romanian forward and they are seriously thinking about recruiting him in the summer transfer window.

A Bola has suggested that club sporting director Walter Sabatini has enquired about the availability of the 25-year-old attacker.

Rusescu has beenin fine form since joining Sporting Braga on loan from Sevilla and in turn caught the eye of Portuguese giants Benfica and Porto.

Braga have the option to turn his loan into permanent deal for €3 million and they could activate the clause in order to re-sell him to the highest bidder.

Raul Rusescu has so far featured in 13 competitive fixtures for os Minhotos and managed to score 6 goals in the process.

Lyon starlet hints at summer exit

Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has dropped a hint that he could be leaving les Gones for a bigger club at the end of the current campaign.

A string of impressive performances in French Ligue 1 has seen the 22-year-old catch the eye of Europe’s top clubs, with Liverpool reportedly leading the chase.

And while the youngster is adamant he is happy at Lyon, he has refused to rule out a summer exit from Stade Gerland.

“Everything is going well at the moment, that’s for sure,” Lacazette explained to Canal +.

“If there really is a club that is interested in me and I cannot advance with Lyon, it will be discussed.

“But I don’t think it will come to that. The matter will be talked about between men and discussed intelligently.”

Alexandre Lacazette is enjoying his most productive season up to date, having bagged 13 goals in 26 Ligue 1 fixtures this season.

Aly Cissokho linked with Napoli switch

Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Napoli are showing interest in Valencia defender Aly Cissokho.

The Azzurri had previously expressed interest in the highly rated full-back and they appear ready to return for the French defender.

Namely, Cissokho was spotted in the stands at Stadio San Paolo as Napoli defeated AS Roma at the weekend, which is enough to suggest he is in talks over a switch to Naples.

Liverpool are unlikely to turn his loan deal into permanent move at the end of the season given that the player hasn’t managed to nail down a regular starting berth even with Jose Enrique on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, Valencia are prepared to entertain offers for his services, and Napoli do appear to be leading the chase at the moment.

Since joining the club on loan from los Che, Cissokho has made a total of 13 Premier League appearances for Liverpool.

Having defeated AS Roma at the weekend, Napoli are now hot favourites for a top 3 finish in Serie A, and the Azzurri are 11/10 to defeat Torino away next time out.
