Roma coach Lucaino Spalletti has told Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport that he is looking to sign one more player for the transfer window closes tonight.
Roma have made several big signings this summer including Jeremey Menez, Julio Baptista, John Arne Riise and Simone Loria.
Spalletti told the Corriere dello Sport: “If it were possible to serve up a substitute for Taddei [then yes], but without forcing things.
He added on Matteo Brighi’s future at the club: “I do not think that Brighi will leave, and there will be no exchange with Di Michele.
“In this respect the market is closed. Let’s see what can happen in the final hours.â€Â
The Giallorossi failed to impress in their first Serie A match and only managed a 1-1 draw at home against Napoli on Sunday.
