Roma will sign Monaco midfielder Jeremy Menez, Inter striker David Suazo or Chelsea winger Florent Malouda, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Roma prefer to sign Menez, but it is reported that Monaco want 25 million euros for their talented midfielder, something the Italian side is not prepared to pay.
It is being reported that the Giallorossi are only prepared to pay around 12-13 million euros for the 21 year old.
David Suazo looks likely to leave Inter Milan after failing to break in the Jose Mourinho’s team, and could be the cheapest signing of the three for Roma.
With Chelsea desperate to sign Robinho from Real Madrid, that could also force Florent Malouda to leave the Premiership club. Roma have several times in recent months been linked with the French winger.
