Roma negotiating a new deal with Mexes

Roma president Rosella Sensi admits the club have opened talks with Philippe Mexes regarding a new deal.

Mexes has attracted a lot of attention with his consistent performances this season, with Milan just one of the clubs showing interest in the Frenchman.

Nonetheless, Rosella Sensi hopes the France international will sign a new deal at the club.

“We are negotiating a renewal.

“Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani is a friend, but we have never spoken about Mexes.

“He is a player who I care a lot about. We are talking to arrive at a renewal.

“I have not said that we have renewed, but we are continuing to talk.”
