Roma have completed the signing of Bruno Peres from Torino on a one-year loan deal for an initial outlay of €1 million with an obligation to make the move permanent for a fee of €12.5m, depending on the completion of certain performance targets.

The transfer fee could rise with up to €1.5m depending on certain variables.

“I’m absolutely delighted to start this new challenge,” the right-back told the official Roma website.

“I can’t wait to meet my new team-mates and show the coach what I can do.

“In the meantime, I’ll cheer the guys on from my living room Wednesday night [against Porto]. Forza Roma!”
