Roma to make Osvaldo available for sale

Italian daily Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested that Roma are prepared to cash in on striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.

The Argentine attacker has been in fine form ever since he arrived at Stadio Olimpico from Espanyol, but club chiefs are far from satisfied with the player’s behaviour.

His latest incident includes taking the penalty against Sampdoria even though Francesco Totti is team’s designated penalty taker.

The Giallorossi are, therefore, looking to get rid of the player who is also seen as a disruptive influence on the dressing room.

With Mattia Destro showing plenty of potential since making a move from Genoa, the Serie A giants won’t even have to sign a replacement for the Argentina international.

Pablo Osvaldo, who is still held in high regard by top European clubs, has made a total of 44 Serie A appearances for the Giallorossi, and has scored 22 goals in the process.
