Francesco Totti has not been called up for the match between Roma and Udinese by coach Luciano Spalletti. The Giallorossi captain’s struggles with injuries this season have been well documented and he has not played since his side’s 1-0 loss to Arsenal in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, top-scorer Mirko Vucinic has recovered and is likely to start. Long-term injuries Marco Cassetti and Simone Perrotta will play no part against the Udinese. The Giallorossi sit in sixth place going into this Saturday’s game at the Stadio Olimpico, one point behind surprise package Genoa.
