AS Roma midfielder Simone Perrotta is out for up to two months after suffering a hip injury in training on Friday.

Perrotta is expected to undergo medical tests on the weekend, but Italian media expect the player to be sidelined for a while.

As such, the player misses the return leg with Arsenal in two weeks from now, and a vital phase of the Italian competition. For the Champions League clash, manager Luciano Spalletti will have to come up with a solution in midfield as Daniele De Rossi is suspended.
