Romelu Lukaku drops Real hint

Romelu Lukaku says he is flattered by the interest shown in him. The Belgian striker would welcome the Real Madrid move.

The player has already rejected several offers from big European clubs, including Real Madrid this summer as he wanted to fully develop as a player and person.

“Saying no to Real Madrid and other interesting offers that I had was not easy, but my father decided it was best to continue my development, since another year at Anderlecht  wouldn’t hurt my football career and my growing as a person.”

Lukaku states that Real is his preferred destination.

“I don’t want to get involved with non-footballing matters, which are the concern of my father and my club Anderlecht, but if I had it my way, I would go to Real Madrid as that is the team I dream of.”
