Of course the Brazilians know how to play the game; it's practically in their blood to play football.
but I dont know if they'll win the WC, Spain/Brazil. They're both strong but, like Luis said, Spain are shaky in dealing with a counter attack (if I remember correctly, that's how both of the State's goals were scored when we upset them last summer; I know Altidore's gol did).
for Brazil, Blaze said this, they just dont have the "it" factor, not as much as they used to anyway. Even with the kind of players they can use, it just doesnt seem like they'll win their 6th WC in history.

okay there are sum teams th@ peeps support coz of patriotism like brad supportin the USA,face it man they aint takin jack but as a fan you jus support n th@s wh@ i call being a fan-support no matter wh@ the odds are.the State's team looks really menacing on the pitch and @ the confed cup showed they were no push overs, they most probably have gained confidence-this can work to their advantage or be their downfall.the odds are the states might coz an upset for some teams but it just doesnt have th@ 'it' factor to take home the coverted world cup trophy.brazil is also lacking on th@ 'it' factor.

dang it. . .
Donovan, then. I just cant stop thinking I would choose him.

maybe Graham Fisher could make an article about who to decide:

"Donovan or Ronaldinho? You decide"
just like the one he made about lampard and gerrard.

Gooner:
Your most recent comment above my previous one just showed up; that's why I'm just making an answer to it now.

I dont know who I'd rather. . . cant I just say I would take both? or is this one of those times where I have to make a choice between one or the other?

Hey Ali:
Jozy hasnt had much time to play for Hull, so he only has a goal in the Carling Cup and the PL, that's it.
Meanwhile, Dempsey, you can say he has more quality than Altidore, but not that much more. He could be called a "dive bomber" as he scores often with diving headers. He did it quite a few times with both the U.S. and the clubs he has played for.
goalkeepers. . . sorry, where I come from in the states, we have cavalier-like offense, and keepers arent really big guns. and defenders have a tough time with all the skilled strikers. But Spector is an excellent full back, it's a surprise the only goal he has scored has been disputed as an own goal by Leeds United player (ex, really) Eddie Lewis, another american.
the gk's for the U.S. are just brilliant. tim howard is currently with his teammate donovan at Everton, and before then he was with Manchester United, and we all know you have to be good if you can play for them, and he did play regularly.
as for guzan, I havent seen him so much. I've only ever seen him play in our disaster against Denmark back in November. And he's only played a few times for Aston Villa; Brad Friedal (maybe I should be a GK, instead of a center midfielder, as all the pro footballers I know who have the first name brad are GKs) is a much better choice.

gooner:
yeah, no one in their right mind would choose an American player over someone from the Oranje (isnt that their nickname?) squad, exluding GK. that's where howard comes in.
