Ronaldo set for Real stay

Jorge Mendes, the agent of Cristiano Ronaldo, has said that it will be impossible for Manchester Untied to lure the Portugal international back to Old Trafford according to the Daily Star.

Ronaldo swapped Manchester for Madrid five years ago with the 29 year old going on to score two hundred and sixty-nine goals in just two hundred and fifty-seven appearances in all competitions.

Seventeen of those goals have come in only eleven outings so far this season, and twelve in just his last five though rumours of a potential return to the Premier League won’t go away.

However Mendes, who also represents Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao has said that his client is keen to remain with Real until he is forty.

Ronaldo is set to win his 115th international cap in a friendly against France in Paris on Saturday, with the away win priced at a generous 16/5.
