Rooney could earn £75m in China switch

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney is set to be offered a lucrative offer to play in China, according to the Express.

The thirty year old’s form has been the subject of much speculation in recent months and he has scored just two league goals so far this campaign.

He managed just twelve all of last season, and has hit more than twenty league strikes only twice in his time at Old Trafford yet he is the club’s joint second top scorer of all time.

The former Everton man has been part of the squads that have won five league titles, two League Cups and the 2008 Champions League.

He also became England’s top scorer back in September, and now has fifty-one international goals in one hundred and nine appearances.
