Rose isn’t PSG’s top target

According to Sky Sports, Danny Rose isn’t Paris Saint-Germain’s top left back target despite the fact that the French champions are said to be interested in him. The 28-year-old, who has made more than 100 appearances during his 11-year tenure with Tottenham Hotspur, has been linked with a move away from the club for a while now.

Alas, as the August 31st deadline approaches for PSG’s summer transfer window, their priority in that position seems to be Filipe Luis. Rose will likely remain at Spurs until at least January when his situation is re-evaluated, with German club Schalke initially being quite eager to sign him.

Spurs have done well to keep hold of Rose if that does end up being what happens, and as a whole, they’ve been able to keep the core of their squad intact this summer as they look towards having a successful season both domestically and in Europe.
