RSC Anderlecht crush Mechelen

RSC Anderlecht maintain their pressure on Standard de Liege with an impressive 7-1 win over KV Mechelen on Saturday.

Mechelen did have a good start as Ivens opened the score on 15 minutes, but Vlcek equalised only a minute later.

Frutos then netted two, and Boussoufa made it 4-1 before the break.

The Brussels outfit continued their scoring spree in the second half with Frutos completing his hat-trick, and additional goals from Gillet and Bulykin.

Anderlecht and Standard have the same amount of points, but Standard do still have to play against Genk on Sunday.
