RSC Anderlecht have won the Belgian Cup. Opponents AA Gent were beaten 3-2 in the Belgian capital city, Brussels.

In the first half, Anderlecht needed Polak to cancel out a goal from Foley, which had been scored just a minute earlier.

But Gent took the lead again through Olufade and entered the break with a 2-1 lead.

However, goals from Boussoufa and Gillet in the 70th and 72nd minutes respecitively, turned around the result in Anderlecht’s favour.

It is the ninth time that Anderlecht take the ‘Beker van België’ trophy, but the last time had already been fourteen years ago.
