Rubin Kazan have moved into first place in the Russian league as the defending champions beat Dinamo Moscow 3-0 on Sunday.

Roman Sharonov put Rubin ahead after just ten minutes and Alejandro Dominguez made it 2-0 from the penalty spot, another ten minutes later.

The third and final goal came on 76 minutes as the unfortunate Kiril Kombarov hit his own net.

CSKA Moscow are second following a 0-3 win at FK Khimki. Milos Krasic was responsible for all three goals, scoring in the 6th, 30th and 73rd minutes. As a result, Krasic joins teammate Alan Dzagoev and Dinamo’s Alexander Kerzhakov at the top of the topscorers ranking.
