Spartak Moscow are set to offer their star player Artem Dzyuba a new four-year contract, reports Izvestia.

The highly rated forward will be out of contract in the summer and the club officials are desperate to tie him down to a new long-term deal.

Dzyuba currently pockets around €1.2 million per campaign, while the club plans to offer him a four-year contract that would see his salary significantly increased.

After struggling to prove his worth at Spartak, the 26-year-old was loaned to Rostov last summer and he in turn scored 17 goals in 28 league outings to finish one goal shy of Russian Premier League top scorer Seydou Doumbia.

Dzyuba returned to Spartak this summer and scored a total of 6 goals in as many league matches, becoming one of club’s most important players.

He has also returned into the national team reckoning, scoring one goal in the 4-0 triumph over Liechtenstein.
