With his contract set to expire at the end of December, it looks highly unlikely that Ryan Babel will stay at Deportivo La Coruna.

The Wednesday’s Copa del Rey match against Real Betis could be Babel’s last ever in a Deportivo shirt as the experienced Dutchman stands on the important crossroads in his career.

Former Liverpool forward has been unable to settle down and has changed five clubs since 2011, and it appears that Babel could be in line for yet another move.

Even though the 30-year-old winger has expressed his willingness to renew his contract with La Liga outfit, Spanish radio channel Cadenaser is claiming that Turkish giants Besiktas have tabled a lucrative offer for the Dutch international worth €750,000 for the remaining six months in the 2016-17 season.

Deportivo La Coruna will have problems matching the offer that will see Babel earn €1.7 million a season for the next two years.

Ryan Babel has this season played 11 La Liga games for Deportivo La Coruna and scored 4 goals for his club.
