Paraguay are through to the final round of the South American Sub-20 Championships, thanks to a 2-1 win over Chile. Uruguay beat Brazil 3-2 to maintain a 100 percent record.

Chile needed a win over Paraguay in order to advance, and gained confidence when Mauricio Gomez put them ahead after only five minutes.

But Santander Ospina equalised in the 56th minute and added the winning goal just a minute later.

As such, Chile fail to make it through and finish fourth in Group B. Bolivia, who didn’t play today, end in fifth place.

Uruguay won their fourth of four games, coming back from behind to beat Brazil.

Maximiliano Cordoba scored the opener for Uruguay after 22 minutes but Brazil turned things around through Douglas Costa (33rd) and Alan Kardec (64th).

However, Abel Hernandez equalised four minutes after Brazil’s second goal and went on to net the winner with six minutes to play.

Uruguay finish first in this group, followed by Paraguay and Brazil. Venezuela, Argentina and Colombia advanced from Group B.
