Venezuela remain on course for a spot in the final round of the South American Sub-20 tournament, having beaten Peru 3-1 on Sunday.

Angelo Peña put the Venezuelans in the lead on 21 minutes and Pablo Camacho doubled the advantage seven minutes after the break.

Juan Barros got one back for Peru in minute 83 but Jonathan Del Valle converted a penalty kick three minutes later to make sure that there wouldn’t be any last-minute surprises.

Group A remains undeciced as Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia and Ecuador all have five points from four games. Peru finish last with zero points.
