Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella has said he has full confidence in his team ahead of their 2014 World Cup qualifier against Venezuela on Tuesday.
Sabella’s men have a flawless record against their South American neighbour, winning all of their previous 19 encounters, and they come into the match on the back of a 4-1 win over Chile on Friday.
Argentina are eager to continue their successful start on the road to Brazil, but Sabella warned his men to expect a different match to the Chile game.
“I have full confidence in my players, but it is hard to predict the game against Venezuela. It will be totally different to the Chile clash,” Sabella said.
“They are an organised side and they play knowing what they want from the game. Venezuela will be aiming for a win because of their capabilities.”
Despite his concerns of facing tough opponents, the coach said the talent in his team gives them an excellent chance of victory.
“The games are all difficult, but I have lots of confidence in my players. We have individual skills and everyone is showing a desire to win,” he said.
