Sanchez considers Arsenal stay

The Mirror understands that Alexis Sanchez is prepared to stay with Arsenal for another season, if they are prepared to show their ambition in the transfer market.

The Chile international has long been linked with a move away from the Gunners, who currently sit four points shy of the Premier League top four.

Leaders Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for the forward, and Stamford Bridge could be his destination next summer once his contract with the North London club has expired.

Since arriving in England from Spanish giants Barcelona the twenty-eight year old has racked up one hundred and thirty-four appearances for Arsene Wenger’s side in all competitions, scoring sixty-four goals.

He was part of the squad that won the FA Cup in 2015 while internationally he has represented his country at senior level on one hundred and eight occasions and helped them win their second successive Copa America title last year.
