Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro Cordeiro is set to receive an offer from Sporting CP, A Bola has learned.
The Lions are determined to bring the former Tottenham Hotspur star to Estadio Jose Alvalade, and they have prepared a three-year contract for the Brazilian.
Even though his current wage of €2.5 million per year is a bit outside of Sporting’s price range, the Primeira Liga side believe they will have no problems reaching an agreement with the 27-year-old.
Sandro was loaned to West Bromwich last January, but even though the Baggies have the option to make the deal permanent, they are unlikely to do so.
The midfielder’s career started taking a wrong turn after he left White Hart Lane and he has since struggled to return to the biggest stage.
Sandro went on to make 12 Premier League appearances for West Bromwich last season, starting just five of those games.
