Sandro Ramirez to make loan return to Spain

A lot of people were optimistic that Everton summer signing Sandro Ramirez would be able to at least replace some of the goals that Romelu Lukaku had been banging in before his departure, but those people’s faith in the Spaniard was far from rewarded.

Now the Toffees are looking to offload the striker, and a loan return to his native Spain seems the most likely option, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Everton reportedly want a £2m fee, as well as a club to pay all of the player’s £120,000 a week wages, in order to allow Ramirez to leave. That could be an ambitious request however, especially given just how bad a signing he looks to have been.

Ramirez has not registered a goal or an assist in his eight Premier League appearances since joining from Malaga, and it remains to be seen whether any La Liga clubs are willing to take a chance on the 22-year old.
