Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz admits he would be keen on playing alongside Kaka at Manchester City.
Reports have suggested that City have had an £16million bid for Santa Cruz rejected by Rovers.
“I don’t know what will happen this month for me,” Santa Cruz told The Sun.
“Would I want to play alongside Kaka? Well, yes. Certainly to have a player like Kaka in your side would be great.
“I know City are a team looking to become big in the future. They have a lot of ambition.
“They are looking to bring in some big players and aiming for the UEFA Champions League.”
“My agent has been contacted by other clubs,” he added. “But the fact is Mark Hughes is a manager I know.
“He knows me and I know what he expects. But everything is out of my hands.
“It might seem strange that I love Blackburn but I also want to go on and play for a bigger team and achieve more.”
