Serie A side Sassuolo have revealed the exact amount they are looking to receive for the sale of star forward Domenico Berardi.
The Italy international is already one of the country’s most sought-after footballers, and Neroverdi are clearly prepared to consider a summer sale.
Sassuolo chief Giovanni Carnevali has moved to reveal that they would consider offers in the region of €40 million.
“Berardi has had a difficult season because of injuries,” Carnevali told Gr Parlamento.
“He’s getting back to great levels though. We hope that he’ll become a symbol of Sassuolo, but if someone wants him then they’ll have to pay an appropriate figure.
“So €40m? Yes, that’s an appropriate figure.”
Inter Milan are believed to be readying an official proposal for the 22-year-old footballer and while Juventus are keen as well, it is believed that Berardi prefers a move to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
The Nerazzurri are short of options on the wing positions and they have shown a serious interest in Federico Bernardeschi and Domenico Berardi.
The Sassuolo star is slowly rediscovering his form after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and he should soon be back to his best.
