Saul Niguez linked with Arsenal move

Atletico Madrid hotshot Saul Niguez has reportedly emerged as a target for Premier League giants Arsenal, Sky Sports has suggested.

The Gunners are well equipped in the middle of the park after recruiting Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka, but they could, nonetheless, use the player of Saul’s qualities.

The Spain international is capable of covering just about any position in midfield and he has quickly developed into a key member of one of Europe’s top sides.

As a result, Atletico Madrid are desperate to keep hold of their prized asset, and the player himself appears perfectly happy to remain at Vicente Calderon.

Bar a season-long loan spell with Rayo Vallecano, Saul has spent his entire career up to date with los Colchoneros, scoring 14 goals and setting up another 7 in 103 appearances.

After reaching the Champions League final twice in last three years, Atletico Madrid are available at 12/1 to go all the way.
