Portsmouth are no longer the only side interested in Real Madrid striker Javier Saviola, as Dutch team PSV Eindhoven joined the race for the Argentinian.
According to Dutch media, Saviola is positive about the thought of playing in the Netherlands: “They have been following me for a long time and this is an opportunity I just can’t let pass.”
Saviola, who played for River Plate, FC Barcelona, Monaco and Sevilla before joining Madrid in 2007, is reportedly unhappy at the Merengues and spends most of his time on the bench.
PSV tried to sign the forward before, but their 2006 attempt failed.
