Schalke boss happy with new signings

After signing players like Raul, Huntelaar and Jurado, Felix Magath is perfectly happy with the team he has on his disposal.

The experienced boss believes the trio of new signings will add a lot more quality to Schalke’s front line.

“I am very pleased that we could get Hurado and Huntelaar. Both of them are high quality players and will help Raul. Huntelaar can not only score goals but he can attract the attention of defenders and thus allow Raul to put his creativity and intelligence to good use.”

Magath still doesn’t believe his side can enter the title race.

“Our realistic goal is to remain in the Champions League until the winter. It would be great if we can again qualify for the Champions League through domestic championship. But perhaps we also need to be satisfied with Europa League.”
