Austrian midfielder Paul Scharner has revealed he is ready to leave Wigan Athletic at the end of the season.
Scharner, who has two years left on his contract with Wigan, is keen to be playing in the Champions League.
Aston Villa, Fulham, Tottenham, Hamburg and Schalke have all been linked with the 29-year-old former Brann star.
“I feel this summer is the time for me to make the next step in my career,” Scharner told Austrian TV.
“I’m looking towards getting a regular starting place in the Austria national side.
“My absolute aim would be to play in the Champions League.”
