Schweinsteiger wants Man Utd move

French media outlet L’Equipe has learned that Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger hopes to join Manchester United this summer.

The Germany hotshot has another year left on his deal at Allianz Arena, and he has been offered a contract extension by the Bavarians.

However, L’Equipe understands that Schweinsteiger has ended talks over a new deal due to the fact that he wants to sign for Manchester United.

The Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal wants to be reunited with the experienced midfielder at Old Trafford and it is believed he is ready to offer €25 million for his services.

Bayern Munich appear to have come to terms with losing the long-serving footballer, and they are expected to consider any serious bids for the 30-year-old.

Bastian Schweinsteiger has spent his entire career up to date with the Bavarians, making a total of 342 Bundesliga appearances and scoring 45 goals, while lifting eight league trophies.
